The Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) has introduced significant reforms to Nigeria’s petroleum sector. While the PIA aims to bring positive changes and foster development, it is essential to anticipate and address potential conflicts, that may arise during its implementation. This concept note proposes a sensitization program to raise awareness and promote dialogue among communities affected by the PIA, intending to mitigate conflicts and foster constructive engagement.
